Friday Night Light!

Tonight's friday night light is brought to you by my mom, Kathleen! She is super talented and has a great eye for design. I hope to be sharing more of her upcoming projects soon. Take it away mom!

Jezebel is no ordinary artist or person. Her dedication to humanity and integrity is evident in her works of art and her personal history. She has been working with stained, blown, cast, slumped, and fused glass since her high school years! Read more about her and her work at her website:

I like these for their graceful moves and the option of colors! One of these can add that hint of color to tie a space together! The ideas could be endless!  I love taking a piece like this that speaks to you and designing a whole room around it! May Friday night lights brighten your week with ideas!

Wedded Bliss

The world is about to become obsessed with the wedding details of these two. I'm so looking forward to seeing what she walks down the aisle in. I'm getting married this year and am loving all of the wedding fashion. I thought I would put together some beautiful dresses I've found for inspiration. First are a few long dresses that I'm crushing on!

Next are the short cocktail dresses.

Some pretties for the feet....I take you Loubie, to be my wedding shoe, to have and to hold from this day forward!

Still Hot for Hot House

Even though it has been around for awhile I still have love for the hot house fabric by Celerie Kemble for Schumacher....especially the spark and mineral colorways! Definitely want to use this in our house! Love the dramatic scale and the modern take on a traditional design.

Friday Night Light!

Tonight's friday night light is the gorgeous Blossom Chandelier by Tord Boontje. It has become a contemporary classic since it's introduction in 2002. It's been seen in the amazing hamptons home of the ever stylish Gwyneth Paltrow. This is how the designer describes it -
I like crystal when it is used densely with an internal light, because it becomes very magical, like the ice palace of the fairy queen. By using LED we were able to place the light source directly next to the crystals, and best of all they could be programmed to flash on and off in sequence – all adding to the magic.
The form of the blossom branch came from a romantic idea. It is a place where crystal belongs.

The price tag is pretty outrageous....For the large one it is around $37,000 and the smaller one can run you about $22,500! You can find them online here. A girl can dream! Maybe it will provide a little inspiration, or a DIY. Love a little sparkle and light!

Have a seat!

My BFF is moving into a new place and said she is on the hunt for a new accent chair and wondered if I had any suggestions....oooh how to narrow it down. I picked chairs that she could easily find in her area. So,  here they are!

Pretty Papers

So, after posting the awesome black and white graphic wallpaper in Tobi Fairley's house, it inspired me to do a little round up. Here are some fun black/charcoal wallpapers.

These top four are all from Schumacher

There are also special light covers and outlet covers that are clear so that you don't have to worry about trying to cover them with wallpaper. They also come with a variety of buttons and finishes.

You can find them here.

Loving the big graphic black and white (of course that's no surprise!)
