Roman Round Up

I always love a good roman shade...especially in a fun pattern or with amazing trim details! They are great window treatments when you don't have room for curtains, but still want to add some color or pattern to your space.

I also just found a great DIY how-to by Maria over at John's Journal. I think I might have to try this out!
Check out the roman shades she has made for her home!

  1. Great post!! My very first "adult window treatment" when we moved to our first house was a roman shade, and it was so pretty, steamlined, elegant and crisp. I still very much love the look and this post has me thinking all over again about how much I like them so thanks.....I think for my sons rooms especially these are perfect!

  2. I absolutely adore the streamlined and tailored look of roman shades...especially the fact that you can also go so bold and bright with them! That orange room is amazeballs...maybe I'm just on an orange kick lately, but my eye goes to that gorgeous hue every time!

  3. I do love roman blinds. I'm about to start sewing 2 "faux" roman blinds. Great images you found!
