The Office

Yay! The office is done! Finally, I can share some of the pictures! I so wanted this room to be a peaceful retreat to work, design, and paint. I also wanted us to have a room with personal touches that are special to us! The chairs were re-upholstered with the help of my super talented mom. I will let her share some of her tips and our process soon! Over the next couple of days I will share some more close-ups and detailed explanations of projects throughout the room!





I gave the vintage typewriter as a gift to my fiance. 


The nailhead board was a DIY project that I did from the awesome tutorial provided by Bryn over at her fabulous blog found here! I can look at my inspiration from my desk!

    It is absolutely *amazing*!!! Those chairs are so freakin' fabulous, I'm pretty sure I'm obsessing over them...black and white and stunning all over! And I'm a huge fan of the Caroline Bickford-Smith books, fan-frickin-tastic! TGIF and enjoy your new office!

    How did I miss this?....WOW! I love it, I am such a fan of black and white!!! Hence my kitchen...I painted it black and white and at first i thought i had flipped my lid, now, I can't dream of ever changing it...Your office is beautiful, great job on the inspiration board!!!

    Wow stunning. This is such a perfect, serene, and calm workspace! I actually have that lamp as well, picked it up on a random Goodwill trip for $10.
